“Read Carry Share” was an early motto of The Pocket Testament League, and is what Christians still promise to do when they join Bridge-Builders.
1. Read
We each promise to read at least one chapter of the Bible every day.
2. Carry
We carry a gospel with us at all times, ready to use in conversation with others.
3. Share
We try to give away gospels and encourage people to read them.
How Do We Continue This Today?
God’s Word is living and active. Described as the “Sword of the Spirit”, it gets through our defences! As Christians, we need to read the Bible ourselves: Joining Bridge-Builders can help us share our knowledge of God with others.
