Helen Cadbury was a school girl when she founded the Pocket Testament League with a few friends 129 years ago but from that point on she witnessed the life changing power of God’s Word at work in the lives of others.
On her gravestone in the English city of Birmingham is a reference to Romans 1:16 in which the Apostle Paul says:
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,
for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…” (NKJV)
Helen Cadbury was used of God to inspire millions of people to share Gospels in her lifetime and many came to know Jesus as their Saviour a result.
