When you share a Gospel today, it might have an impact decades later. We get thousands of stories at PTL, and the many letters that we receive confirm this. Thomas writes to us:
“ Returning from a business trip I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior after landing at the airport on 31 August, 1981. I went to get a magazine and as I walked to the shop a tall gentleman (in a blue suit) turned toward me and gave me a Gospel of John. I read it while waiting for my connecting flight, and as a result asked Jesus into my heart and life. I have kept that book in a safe place all these years since.”
“After many moves, jobs, church affiliations and ministries, I was just ordained. God’s ways are not always our ways, and His time is according to His time. God’s blessing upon you. I would love to know who that gentleman was, standing in that walkway, with hundreds of people walking past, handing out those little books that afternoon on 31 August, 1981. God used you and him to save one such as I,……that I might have life. Thank you!”
