When we give away a Gospel it can sometimes be months or even years before a seed will germinate, but sometimes His Word works quickly!
Gaynor from the UK wrote to tell us her exciting experience of sowing seed and seeing almost spontaneous results!
“I met a man on the street who recently lost his wife two months ago. He said nobody had shared the Gospel with him before so I shared the Gospel with him and prayed for him before we said goodbye. He came back 30 mins later and said he could not stop thinking about it and wanted to give his life to Jesus and be saved. He is now attending the church!”
What an amazing testimony!
Whether we have the privilege to see instantaneous results or not, you can be sure that the Gospels in your pockets are powerful and have the potential to see speedy results.
In Hebrews 4:12 we read, ‘The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword,’ and the Apostle Paul said, ‘For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes’ (Romans 1:16, NKJV).
