Let’s talk frankly. Are you afraid to share your faith? Most people are. We have surveyed many members, and they have told us that the number one reason they don’t share their faith is fear. What is sad that we really don’t have anything to be afraid about.

We have received hundreds of thousands of stories in our 125-year history, representing tens of millions of presentations of the Word of God. How many letters do you think we have received from people who regretted sharing the Word of God, or who told us that they were embarrassed and would not ever do it again? Zero. That’s right. None. The enemy has scared us silent…and we do not need to be.

Even so, even the most powerful evangelist in history was afraid to share his faith – the Apostle Paul. In Ephesians 6:19 Paul says, “Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.” So how did the Apostle Paul handle fear? Prayer. And you can do the same thing.

As Raissa from Oxford shared recently,

“Hello. I do share the gospel of John mainly on the street or shopping centers while doing my shopping, sometimes at bus stops. Please pray for me as I need a lot of boldness. Thanks.”

So what can you do to help flood the UK with the Word of God? Pray. Today, the Word of God is being shared all over the UK. Pray for our members, that they would be bold. Pray not only for them, but for yourself. Ask the Lord to give you a burden to share the Word of God personally. Believe me, God will answer that prayer. And you will be filled with joy!

Start sharing the Word, say a prayer asking God to guide you, and then wait and see what God does!
